My Story
From the first easel my precious granddaddy built me when I was 8 years old, I've had a passion for art. Without writing a book, life sort of got in the way and I've become a late in life painter beginning around 2010. It's NEVER too late to begin something you love and are passionate about!
Growing up in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, I was so blessed to have such wondrous beauty at our doorstep. Since those days, I've been privileged to visit the majority of our states and many European countries that my subject matter is endless.
When I'm in my painting zone, I truly get lost into what I'm painting. Sensing the atmosphere when I place paint onto the canvas takes the entire experience to another level as I watch the canvas come alive.
